Știri România is an independent RSS reader that collects headlines published by Romanian news outlets. For every story you see the publication, the headline, a short excerpt and the time it was published. The full article opens on the original publisher's website.
In the app:
• Browse the chronological feed and the categories, or filter by source and topic.
• Follow or hide topics and sources. The optional "For you" feed stays separate from the home page and keeps the chronological order.
• Turn on optional alerts for your favourite topics and sources, with quiet hours.
• See a bubble with the number of new headlines when the app refreshes while you are reading. The list does not jump; you decide when to show what is new.
• Compare coverage grouped locally by the words headlines have in common, and see which publications cover the same story.
• Listen to a briefing of the latest headlines using the text-to-speech engine on your device.
• Search the saved edition, or ask for a fresh search across the sources you have enabled.
• Save articles for later and choose between cards, a compact list or a grid.
• Enable, disable or add your own RSS feed, after validation.
Offline and privacy:
The headlines and excerpts from the last edition stay available without a connection. The full article needs a connection and opens at the original publisher.
The reader's interface carries no advertising of its own, and the app has no accounts and no analytics or tracking SDKs. Content preferences and reading history are processed locally on the device. RSS requests and opening articles talk directly to the source websites; their own privacy policies apply.

Changes: Go4IT stories always showed as "now" and took over the top of the feed, pushing real news down. Their feed sends no publication date, and the app filled in the phone clock instead. The time is now the real one.
When a source does not say when it published, we no longer invent a time: the article shows without one and stays in its place in the list.
